Solar Powered Camera and Security Light 1100 Lumens

The light is relatively bright compared to "most" solar security lights. Construction is standard plastic nothing exceptional. However, I have had a few issues to result in an OK not great rating. First it arrived with a malfunction of the firmware, the date time stamp for the video segments was the same for every photo. Had to send back the camera module for a free replacement, so that went well enough. The camera resolution in full daylight is pretty good. The camera is not a low light camera. At night the camera does not function well if things are more than 5 or 6 feet from the light, they are not bright enough to see on the video record. I am thinking of adding several more solar motion lights to brighten up the "scene" enough to record usable video images. The motion sensor is very sensitive and there is no sensitivity adjustment, squirrels set it off at over 15 ft - 20 ft. from the sensor. My camera is in an area where there are frequent shadows cast by clouds or trees, and the sensor faces vegetation, so in daylight the camera turns on almost continuously with only short intervals of down time. Because of this the standard SD card filled totally in 3 days with hundreds of clips. There is no way that I know of to remedy that other than using it in an area without any strong shadow movements or vegetation. Because of the sensitivity during the day and at night the light was coming on too often and it wore the battery down, I had to set the camera/light on interval to the minimum, about 10-15 seconds to keep the battery charged. I have not had it installed long enough to know about weather durability. There are no rubber seals along any of the housing joints so I am a bit leery if it will survive a Florida rain. I had no choice but to mount it in the open, would be best to mount it under an eve or other protected area.
