This definitely is the best flashing beacon I have ever purchased. The magnetic base is extremely strong and will hold under the highest winds Kansas has had to offer (so far 60mph+), without budging. The flashing beacon is the brightest I've encountered and screw mounting option is a plus. One thing about this light is it attracts thieves because of it's performance. Since it was to be a replacement beacon for one of my solar lighthouses I didn't permanently mount it as I wanted to see how it performed, how well it held the charge and how quickly it recovered the charge. All functions were perfect. A minor inconvenience I did encounter is the switch on the new one (that replaced the stolen beacon) does not allow you to turn the light off with the tip of a finger since it is recessed quite a bit more than the one purchased last July 2019 so a small probe will need to be used. I will probably order another for a second lighthouse I have.
