I bought four of these lights to see if they would light up the front of my home. Unfortunately I don't have any outdoor outlets and have struggled to find lights to add evening enhancement to my home. I decided to just put one light out to see if they really did work. After two days of charging, I turned the light on and was blown away by how bright it was! I couldn't wait to get the other 3 out there and charged. The front of my home now looks beautiful at night. I couldnt' be more pleased with these lights!

I bought some cheapies at Lowe's which said they would last eight hours. Two hours was more like it. It is raining this morning and very cloudy. When I took the dog out this morning, the lights were still on at 7:30AM. So more they were lit more than 12 hours. They are much brighter than the cheapie ones as well. Money well spent!!

Is there an extension for the stakes? These lights are being used for monument lighting at the entrance of a neighborhood and as the light sits, it does not illuminate over the plant material. We need to raise the light about a foot or two.

It says the stake that comes with it is a sturdy 1/2" NPT heavy duty PVC stake. You may be able to use black or galvanized 1/2" pipe. You can get them at ACE already threaded in several lengths???
