The lights are attractive, and work well. There are wires which connect 4 lights to the sides of the bottom piece. If any of the three larger bottom frame sizes is used, you must rewire the lights into that frame. As I see it, this design might be a potential problem, because if the top is ever twisted off, it can break the wires in the bottom piece. There is nothing to prevent the top from being twisted. Below is a question "would you recommend this item to a friend?" I will mark it as "yes", but I would warn him of this potential problem.

Merchant Response:The Kingsbridge adapters have 4 tabs that allow for a locking mechanism. When twisting the post cap with the adapters, there is an audible click that secures the post cap to the adapter. When removing, as long as they are handled carefully while twisting the post cap off the adapter, the wires will not be affected. We thank you for your review and feedback!

Product arrives with 4 different size post adapters. Easy to swap once you complete 1st few. Pleasantly surprised how long caps stay illuminated with good solar exposure. Very happy this far. (3 weeks)
