Product Details
Our newly engineered Yeti Link is now back in stock. With this integration kit, you can charge your Yeti 1500X and larger X-line power stations from your vehicle. Contains everything you need to charge the Yeti 1500X or larger from your vehicle’s alternator. Simply switch the Yeti Link to “Car Mode” to start collecting power while on the move. NOTE: Requires installation by a qualified professional. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH YETI 1000X.
How it Works:
• | The new and improved design of the Yeti Link Vehicle Integration Kit comes with an integrated locking mechanism to provide a more secure and stable connection that won’t jostle loose when the going gets rough. Take your adventure rig off-road and off-grid. We’ll keep you connected. |
• | The Yeti Link Vehicle Integration Kit comes with everything you’ll need to connect your Yeti power station to your vehicle’s alternator, including a Male MP120 to Ring Terminal and a MP120 12ft Extension Cable with added fuse protection. |
• | Pair the Yeti Link Vehicle Integration Kit with Goal Zero Boulder Solar Panels to create a custom portable power system that can recharge your Yeti power station both on the road and off-grid. |
• | Built-in handles and magnetized corners make it easier to fold up your panel, pack in the car and go. |
• | NOTE: Link must be in Vehicle Mode to utilize this feature or it will drain your vehicle’s battery. All Links come standard set in "Tank Mode." Tank Mode allows you to chain a Yeti Tank Expansion Battery to a Yeti Lithium Portable Power Station to increase your energy storage capacity. |
• | MP120 Male to Ring Cable allows you to connect directly to your vehicle's 12V battery or alternator's +/- terminals. MP120 12' Extension Cable connects the Ring Cable to the back of your Yeti Link. Link locking mechanism secures cables tightly to the Link. |
• | When in “Vehicle Mode,” the Yeti Link pulls power from your vehicle’s alternator while the vehicle is running and stops pulling power when the vehicle is off. While at camp, connect your Yeti with our Boulder or Nomad solar panels to collect and store power through every leg of the journey. When your energy source is portable and sustainable, the possibilities are endless. |
• | While most vehicles manage their battery in nearly identical ways, it has become increasingly common for cars to have slight variations in the way they charge their internal battery system. If you are experiencing slower charging speeds this is due to the integration of smart alternators, which are designed to improve the efficiency of the vehicle and reduce strain on the motor in an idle state. As can be imagined, every manufacturer does this differently. Due to these variances, some of our customers may experience slow charge rates with their Yeti Link when used with a vehicle in a smart alternator configuration. Goal Zero is actively working on a firmware update to address the main concerns regarding the Yeti Link with smart alternator integrations. |

Goal Zero Yeti Vehicle Link Kit
October 11, 2021
What a fantastic addition to my camper van to charge my Goal Zero battery. I run my van lights, dometic fridge, charge my e-bike, cell phone, etc off my Goal Zero battery. Just by driving, this kit charges the Goal Zero in no time flat. Example: I was down to 50% and driving for 45 mins was charged up to 90%. It gives me peace of mind that I will always have power available.
Pros
- Take away worry if I'm going to run out of power. Streamline charging (once installed). Long power cord, so provides varied options for location of the Goal Zero battery.
Cons
- Needs professional install..do not want to risk injury to self or vehicle.

Awesome product

This is a great way to charge your Yeti while on the go. A lot faster to charge from your car than a wall outlet. It was super easy to install and all the hardware that you need was included.

Does this offer an advantage over the car plug in that is included with the Yeti 1000?
1 Answer
There is no 12V car charger included with the Yeti 1000. The Car Charging kit is designed to charge a Yeti Lithium directly from your vehicle's alternator. Thank you for your inquiry!
